Tony Prince, founded DMC with his wife Christine in February 1983. He had introduced DJ mixing into his Radio Luxembourg dance music programme in 1981 exposing the developing art to 50 million listeners. His career began as a singer and became a full time DJ when the UK Musicians Union expelled him for playing records when the band had a break. He became part of the small team of musical mutineers, the UK 60's pirates who broadcast from Radio Caroline. He then joined Radio Luxembourg and stayed with Europe's largest commercial radio station for 16 years.

The 2012 DMC ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIP has already attained a reach of 1,924,046 through Facebook and Twitter activity. There were one or two DJs who missed the boat because they either entered late or had their film blocked due it it exceeding the 2 minute limit. But they have two more ROUNDS in which to enter before we arrive at the blockbuster Grand Final. I’m really sorry for those who ran into problems and look forward to seeing them when they come into vision on the 8th May. Before that date (look at the calendar) they have plenty of time to Submit their entry.
