How The DJ Competition Works
Welcome to the DMC Online DJ Championship - the DJ world’s greatest creative journey.
This incredible DJ competition launches on March 22nd and is open to every DJ around the world to enter. The first round starts on April 3rd.
Every two weeks the public vote for their favourite DJ sets deciding the top 10, which will then be judged by DMC World DJ Champions.
The DMC World Champions then decide the Top 3 from each round to go through to the August final where all DJs will be required to upload their six minute filmed performance.
Once again the public will vote for their favourite performances, and the top 10 will be judged by DMC World DJ Champions.
On September 11th one DJ will be crowned the world’s DMC Online DJ Champion.
How To Enter
Step 1
If you are a DJ and want to enter the online competition you will need to register!
Step 2
Once you have registered to enter the DJ competition, you will receive an email giving you simple instructions on how to upload your video.
Step 3
Spread the word by asking your fans and friends to check out the competition and your video. We will send you ideas by email on how to prepare your set to gain maximum impact and we’ll also send you tips showing you how to get voters watching your set plus general information on how the DJ competition works.
Step 4
Once you have uploaded your video visit the site regularly to keep an eye on your progress in the competition.
Each Round lasts 2 weeks throughout which the public will be voting.
The public’s Top 10 DJs will then be judged by DMC World Champions and the 3 winners will be announced the following week.
We will email you if you are one of the Top 3 DJs decided by the World Champions and will ask you to prepare a six minute set for the Online Final.

How It Works - Dates for the diary
March 22nd – Site launches and DJs can upload their two minute videos for the world to see. We encourage DJs to do this as soon as they have their two minute video ready so you can then spread the word to your friends and fans. Voting will commence on 3rd April.
3rd April - 5:00pm / 17:00GMT – Round 1 of the Online DJ Championship. All videos open for the public vote. There will now be a new Round every two weeks. Round 9 will be the final round.

Round 1 – 3rd April – 17th April
Round 2 – 17th April – 1st May
Round 3 – 1st May – 15th May
Round 4 – 15th May – 29th May
Round 5 – 29th May – 12th June
Round 6 – 12th June – 26th June
Round 7 – 26th June - 10th July
Round 8 – 10th July – 24th July
Round 9 – 24th July – 7th August
The Top 3 from each round will be announced and they will upload their final 6 minute performances (DJs will be emailed instructions when to upload their 6mins).
The Online Final –
The FINAL 27 DJ’s Public voting: Wednesday 21st August – 4th September
