CONGRATUALTIONS (felicitation) to FONG FONG the new DMC 2012 ONLINE DJ CHAMPION. I have long been a fan of Fongy and, although I couldn’t make comment during the Final, I have to say his six minute set was the most intersting musically I have ever seen and quite technically brilliant. I held my breath for Asian Hawk (2nd) and Ritchie Ruftone (3rd) because they have been part of this art and DMC events for many years and deserve to do well. Ritchie of course is the UK Champion and the question now is will Fong Fong and Ritchie, both in the 2012 London WORLD FINALS in October, prepare new sets or stick to the main elements of their incredible performances we can all see here. Must say well done to 4th placed Erick Jay who will have ewxcited Pogo and all the DMC supporters in Brazil.
Thanks to everyone who entered and for being patient as DMC grappled with problems during our first year using the Talenthouse platform rather than the one we created in 2011 on dmcworld.com.
Fong Fong – you didn’t set a foot wrong wrong!
Enjoy the prizes and money and the expenses paid trip to the DMC’s. Best regards to DJ Homer Simpson and we all look forward to seeing you in London.

Tony Prince, founded DMC with his wife Christine in February 1983. He had introduced DJ mixing into his Radio Luxembourg dance music programme in 1981 exposing the developing art to 50 million listeners. His career began as a singer and became a full time DJ when the UK Musicians Union expelled him for playing records when the band had a break. He became part of the small team of musical mutineers, the UK 60's pirates who broadcast from Radio Caroline. He then joined Radio Luxembourg and stayed with Europe's largest commercial radio station for 16 years.
